Their English is very bad and it takes some deciphering to figure out what they mean and sometimes they misunderstand what you are saying, so communication can be challenging. The guys a joying might be able to answer that question better. From memory it seems like several have said they are the same.
But I do remember while browsing the MEGA HuiFei thread seeing this topic addressed several times. I don't have a KGL so I haven't looked into it. Second, From my understanding KGL is a re-seller of Joyous units. And the radio cuts off when the driver door opens after the car is turned off. I have a key fob, so the radio turns on when I push the start button. I haven't been able to get the illumination to work yet.
However, all the SWC work as they should, the HU displays which door is open. I can not fade front to back because of that damn factory amp. First, just about everything works as it should.
